Julie has been a Christian since she was twenty four and since then she has been an active part of Highworth Community Church, Vale Community Church and then, for the last twenty plus years, Cana Fellowship (which became Vale Elim Church).

Julie is a gifted songwriter and has served as key Worship Leader for Vale Elim for many years.

Julie has been married to John since 1979, and they have five children and eight grandchildren.

Outside church life Julie enjoys singing with a local choir, recording her songs, and riding with John on his motorcycle (in the good weather!).
