A watering place in the desert
  • We believe in one sovereign and eternal God, the creator and sustainer of all things, who upholds all creation by His power. We affirm that within the one Godhead there exist three distinct Persons: God the Father Almighty, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Though distinct in role and function, these three Persons are equal in nature, authority, and glory, and together exist as one God in perfect unity—commonly known as the Holy Trinity.
  • We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who became incarnate through the virgin birth and lived a sinless and perfect life. We affirm that He suffered and died as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world, was raised bodily from the dead by the power of God and ascended into heaven, where He intercedes for His people until the time comes for him to return to this earth to reign in glory.
  • We believe that humanity, in its natural state, is separated from God because of sin. We affirm that reconciliation is possible only through repentance and faith in the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ alone. These saving graces are the gift of God and are made effective in the lives of believers through the work of the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. He regenerates, indwells, sanctifies and empowers for ministry all who place their faith in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that scripture was inspired by God and is His Word to the world. It is made living and active by the Holy Spirit; is the basis of our faith and the standard against which all things are tested and measured.
  • We believe that baptism and communion are the only sacraments instituted by Christ. We affirm that baptism is an outward sign of personal repentance and faith, and that communion is a continual remembrance and proclamation of His sacrificial death.
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people and the final judgment of humanity: The eternal blessedness of those who believe in Christ and the everlasting punishment of those who remain in unbelief.
  • We believe in the necessity of being baptised in and continually filled with the Holy Spirit, in order to faithfully reflect Jesus Christ to the world and to live effectively for God’s purposes where He has placed us. In our gatherings, we seek the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit, that we may be drawn closer to God, experience times of spiritual refreshing, and be equipped for His work and calling.
